the one about my thesis, pt 10

17:19 - i will probably write / edit till i get hungry, eat my dinner, and then write / edit some more. i'm feeling very unmotivated.

18:17 - took a couple of breaks because i am unmotivated but i was editing an easy part. edited about two pages and now i'm going to fix my dinner.

the one about change

yeah, so, a lot of college is about change. college as well as university.   when i was in high school finishing up my freshman and sophomore years in college, i didn’t know who i was. i realized that a lot of high school is finding out who you are, before you have all this school thrown at you. it was hard, still figuring out myself while i was figuring out how to balance so much work.  and then i came here. to university. and change is still in the air. two weeks ago my roommate moved out without telling me a word. it had been hard to room with her, so i was glad. i just got used to having my own room. and this morning, university housing assigned me a new roommate who will be moved in by tonight. the change is giving me whiplash.   i was so stressed this morning that i was probably pretty close to a panic attack. breathing hard, heart beating fast, the whole works. on top of next week’s midterms and projects due, now i have to learn a new person’...

the one about my thesis, pt 6

14:13 - i'm going to try and spend the afternoon writing and / or researching 15:41 - i wrote about 2.5 pages of complete garbage, but i did write it, so there's that. my goal this week is to finish up the mumbo jumbo section so that i can edit it and spend weeks 5-8 editing and writing my intros and conclusions.
